My Approach
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I take a trauma-focused, client-centered approach, meeting you where you are and moving at your pace. I use evidence-based tools like EMDR, CBT, and somatic therapy to help you process what’s been, strengthen what is, and build what’s next. Faith-informed care is available when desired and integrated respectfully. I draw from multiple modalities to help clients process what has been, connect to what is, and rebuild what is next.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. It brings structure and practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and daily challenges.
Inner Healing Work
Focusing on uncovering and healing deep emotional wounds and past trauma that impact your well-being. It combines prayer and therapeutic techniques to release shame, guilt, and pain, helping you find lasting peace and restoration.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma treatment that supports the brain’s natural ability to heal. It helps you process painful memories and reduces their emotional impact, without needing to retell every detail.
EFT
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps couples understand and shift the patterns that keep them stuck in conflict or distance. It focuses on emotional connection, building trust, and creating safety so partners can reconnect, communicate openly, and strengthen their bond.
Christian Counseling
Integrating biblical wisdom with evidence-based therapeutic methods to address struggles. We invite God’s truth into the healing process, helping you navigate life’s challenges through faith, prayer, and practical tools. This approach fosters hope, strengthens your relationship with God, and brings deeper peace and purpose.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic work focuses on the body’s role in healing. By tuning into physical sensations and nervous system cues, we work to release stored tension and create a sense of safety and regulation.
