Therapy
(Tennessee Residents)
Individual
If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity and purpose, or grief, individual sessions give us space to slow down, explore what’s beneath the surface, and move forward with clarity and peace. Sessions are tailored to your story and goals, helping you feel seen, understood, and supported.
Fee: $120 per 50-minute session
Aetna, BCBS of TN, and Cigna accepted
Couples
When your relationship feels tense, distant, or stuck in repeating patterns, couples therapy provides a space to reconnect and grow. Using EFT, along with CBT and somatic tools, we focus on rebuilding trust, improving communication, and creating a safe space for both partners to feel seen and heard. It’s not about fixing each other, it’s about learning to move forward together with understanding, closeness, and healthier dynamics.
Fee: $150 per 50-minute session
At Rooted and Rising Therapy, I use a HIPPA compliant online client portal, Simple Practice, to store our important documents, schedule sessions, and manage client billing. This portal also allows us to hold secure online sessions if you find yourself unable to come into the office. Once you have been scheduled for your intake session, you will receive a link for access to your private file.
Coaching
Individual
For those seeking clarity, confidence, or fresh direction. We’ll focus on purpose, identity, and resilience; giving you forward momentum in your goals and practical tools for real-life growth.
Fee: $100 plus $3 processing fee
per 50-minute session.
Couples
These sessions are designed to help you navigate important decisions, strengthen connection, and create healthier rhythms. Whether you’re facing challenges or needing direction, we’ll focus on moving forward with purpose, unity, and confidence.
Fee: $120 plus $3 processing fee
per 50-minute session.
Coaching services through Rooted & Rising are not therapy and do not include diagnosis, symptom treatment, or mental health evaluation. Coaching is goal-focused and future-oriented, with separate paperwork, no insurance billing, and no clinical records. If therapy is needed, referrals will be provided. By engaging in coaching, you acknowledge this distinction and agree that coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment.

Cancellation Policy
Please cancel or reschedule sessions at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations are charged the full session rate. In cases of emergencies or unavoidable conflicts, we can discuss options. I appreciate your understanding.
Important Notice About Therapy vs. Coaching
At Rooted & Rising, I offer both therapy and coaching services. These are distinct types of support, each with its own purpose, structure, and boundaries. While the consultation call or intake process helps determine the right fit, sometimes it becomes clear that the service a client is seeking is not the service they actually need.
As a licensed mental health professional, I reserve the right to determine whether therapy or coaching is appropriate based on your current needs and history. For example, if you are seeking coaching but present with concerns that are better addressed through clinical therapy, such as trauma, active mental health symptoms, or unresolved psychological wounds, I may recommend that we shift to a therapy framework or refer you to another provider if that is a better fit.
My priority is to provide ethical, effective care within my scope of practice. I will always explain the reasoning behind any recommendation, and we will make these decisions collaboratively, with your well-being and best outcome in mind.

Good Faith Estimate Notice (No Surprises Act)
Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who are not using insurance or who are self-pay an estimate of the expected charges for services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency mental health services, including therapy sessions and other related costs.
At Rooted & Rising Therapy, you will receive a written Good Faith Estimate prior to your first appointment and upon request at any time. This estimate is based on your expected frequency of sessions and can be updated as your care evolves.
-
The estimate is based on seeing your therapist approximately once every two weeks unless otherwise discussed.
-
You will never be billed before meeting with your provider or without clear communication and agreement.
-
This is not a contract and does not obligate you to receive services.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges. You may contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services at 1-800-985-3059 or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises for more information about your rights.
